Modern Slavery Statement
1. About This Statement
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps TekSpert Ltd has taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.
Although TekSpert Ltd's annual turnover is currently below the £36 million threshold that triggers a mandatory reporting obligation, we publish this statement voluntarily as a demonstration of our commitment to ethical business practices.
2. Our Organisation

3. Our Policies
We have policies and procedures in place that contribute to ensuring modern slavery does not occur in our business:
- Employment practices: All employees are hired through transparent processes, paid at or above the National Living Wage, and provided with written contracts of employment

4. Due Diligence
Our due diligence processes include:
- Evaluating suppliers for modern slavery risks before engagement
- Reviewing key supplier relationships on an annual basis
- Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act
5. Risk Assessment
As a UK-based SaaS company, our supply chain is relatively simple and low-risk:
- Staff: All employees are UK-based, employed directly, and paid above minimum wage
- Technology suppliers: Cloud infrastructure, payment processing, and development tools from established, reputable companies (all headquartered in jurisdictions with strong labour protections)
- No physical goods: We do not manufacture, import, or distribute physical goods
We assess our overall modern slavery risk as low. However, we remain vigilant and will update our risk assessment if our operations or supply chain change materially.
6. Training
All team members are made aware of the signs of modern slavery and the importance of reporting concerns. This awareness is included as part of onboarding for new employees.
7. Measuring Effectiveness
We measure the effectiveness of our anti-slavery efforts by:
- Reviewing this statement and our policies annually
- Monitoring any reports received through our whistleblowing process
